Academically talented young people defy easy labels. But one thing

unites them: ability that goes well beyond that of others their age.

Those special talents need special attention.

For more than 30 years, the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth

(CTY) has identified academic talent in exceptional K-12 students.

We then support these students with courses, services, and resources

specifically designed to meet their needs.

School will play a big part in your child’s academic development, but

so, too, will the extra resources you find to develop your child’s

full potential. In fact, you’re reading this because an educator has

recognized your child’s tremendous ability.
